With my family of 2 adults, 3 kids, 1 very big dog and 2 cats, my wish list for herbs, supplements, and natural products for my home each month is often more than what I can fit into our budget. I’m always looking for the best value for my money when it comes to shopping, without sacrificing quality. I have ordered from quite a few websites and catalogs over the years but have always found myself coming back to iherb code for the best products, customer service, and price. I’d like to share with you why you might like to shop there too.
I routinely save on average around 50% off the retail price of my orders, sometimes a little less, oftentimes even more. Here’s an example of my last order.
Liquid Health Products, Daily Multiple, Whole Food Nutritional Supplement from Sea Vegetation, 32 fl oz. Retail: $29.49, iHerb cost: $22.71.
Nature’s Way, System Well, Ultimate Immunity, 180 Tablets. Retail: $37.99, iHerb cost: $23.93.
Healthy Origins, Vitamin D3, 10,000 IU, 120 Softgels. Retail: $22.49, iHerb cost: $11.95.
Doctor’s Best, Best Lithium Orotate, 200 Tablets. Retail: $19.99, iHerb cost: $11.98.
Nature’s Answer, Liver Support, 90 Veggie Caps. Retail: $10.99, iHerb cost: $5.94.
I also received VIP Discount of 10%. Once you reach a certain threshold (this month, January 2013, $200), you get an additional 5-12% off your order!
Total retail cost for me if I had gotten at store, including 7% sales tax, would have been $129.42. At iHerb I spent $68.86.
iHerb has daily and weekly specials that can save you a bundle. Today’s example: Natrol Enzyme Complex, 50 caps. Retail: $12.99, iHerb price: $1.99.
iHerb has freebies that they include with each of your orders. Each customer can choose one. Usually these are trial-sized products but I have gotten several hardcover full-sized books as freebies also and have built up a nice little library for myself. They are usually generous and include more freebies than what you specifically order.
Another place to look when placing your order at iHerb is under “Trials” at the top. Madre Labs is a brand that only iHerb carries and one of my favorites. This month as a trial I ordered a full-size night-time facial cream from Madre Labs for $11.99 that normally sells for $52.95.
These prices include a huge selection of most any brand name you can think of. There are over 35,000 products that they carry, so if there is a specific brand name product that you prefer, most likely iHerb has it in stock.
Shipping prices are anywhere between FREE to very reasonably priced flat rate shipping, and they give you several options. For orders of $40 or more, expedited 1-3 day shipping is free.
I have found customer service to be very helpful but one of the drawbacks from ordering from iHerb might be that you cannot order by phone. Other than this, the process of placing an order is very simple and straightforward.
Last but not least, iHerb has a rewards program, and when you refer your friends, you can get credits to help to pay for your own orders. This is a very generous program and with iHerb’s many benefits, I’m sure you can see it’s very easy to share.
